Yusuf Ali. Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back. Abul Ala Maududi. Every being shall taste death, then it is to Us that you shall be sent back. Share Page. 037 As-Saaffat. This is a middle Makki Surah and its name refers to the rows of angels, the different kinds of whom are mentioned at the beginning of this surah. The jinns who can fly up to the heavens have been prevented from eavesdropping on the conversations of the angels, and are hit by meteors to repel them.
English Translation. And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators.”. “We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray.”. So we led you astray; we ourselves were strayed.”. “So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray.”. Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray.

Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, Abul Ala Maududi. Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron. Muhsin Khan. And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). Pickthall. And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, Dr. Ghali. And indeed We were already bounteous to Mûsa (Moses) and Harûn.
